I am an electrician in the coal mines by night and a BBQ cook all the other times. My wife works daily, raises our family and cooks BBQ along side me (she is my better half and my right hand man). We have a 9 year old daughter and a 2 year old son, that travels with us when we compete and is a part of our team as well. Our family helps where they are needed and sometimes work with us when we are selling or out on the side lines watching the kids. We have the best team around and work hard to make sure you get the best and highest quality meats and the best tasting BBQ around. If you haven't tried our BBQ then it is something you need to put on your to do list. You will be glad you did.
Our ribs are to die for. They are tender, juicy and smoked only with the best woods around. We use Vaughn woods and it produces the best smoke and the best taste. Just ask one of our many satisfied customers. You can buy the ribs by 1/2 slab or whole slab, alone or as a meal. You will not want to miss our ribs. Most always we place in the top 10 in the competitions for our delicious ribs. Our ribs always sell out the fastest. Hurry by and get yours before they do.
Our pork is smoked until perfection and is juicy, tender and very tasty. You have never tasted pulled pork until you have tasted ours. We have brought home many awards for our pork and most often place in the top 10 when we compete. We serve our pork on sandwiches, nachos or by the pound. You can purchase the sandwich alone or you can choose to add some sides to make a great tasty meal. The pulled pork nachos have become a favorite on our menu and for good reason. Our nachos are made with pulled pork, a tasty cheese sauce, BBQ sauce and/or jalapeno peppers. Can be ordered in two sizes, small or large.
Another one of our best menu items is our brisket. It is some of the best smoked brisket you will find anywhere. We have won many awards for our brisket and is some of the tastiest brisket you will find in Harlan County or any other county for that matter. It is one of our best sellers and sells out quick. Come and tickle your taste buds with our brisket.
We also have some of the best tasting chicken around. For competitions like you see in the photo we use legs and thighs. However, for our customers we use only the best quality chicken breasts. Our chicken is tender, juicy and has an awesome smoky taste. You can purchase our chicken with a sandwich, a meal or by the pound. You will find our chicken to be better than any you have eaten. Our chicken as well has won many awards. Our chicken will tickle your fancy I promise. You won't be sorry you tried it.
We will also be offering as our sides, cajun corn, baked beans and cole slaw and all are very tasty. We really believe in our BBQ, as do our patrons. We have also had a lot of interest in our mascot pig hats that we wear when selling or competing. We do have a few to sell at the festival, however the supplies are VERY limited, so if you are interested you better act fast.
